In this article, we'll tell you how and where to find the gluttonous worm to unlock a unique spirit by using it and rice cocoons. The Webbed Hollow is the place where you can find rare items like the gluttonous worm and rice cocoons, both of which play a significant role in the quest with the Elder Amur Worm.

Did you know that by defeating the boss Elder Amur Worm, who lives on the Leaf Bridge, you can obtain the gluttonous worm located in the Webbed Hollow? This will be your first step toward obtaining the gluttonous worm.
We recommend starting from the Keeper’s Shrine. After crossing the bridge and turning left, you’ll encounter the Grasshopper Guai. Continue on, and you'll come to a room with five chests; a new potion recipe is in one of them. Proceed and defeat the spider web at the room’s end to encounter the boss.

The Elder Amur Worm is a huge worm with the ability to release poisonous gas. Our store has prepared simple tips to help you defeat it:
Be ready to dodge the worm’s charges and its first attack when it throws a web.
Capitalize after its first attack, when the worm falls to the ground, to deal maximum damage.
Move to a safe distance when the boss starts to spread poison and thrash around.
Finish it off after the first attack ends, when it’s briefly vulnerable.
After defeating the Elder Amur Worm, you will receive the gluttonous worm.
The second required item to complete the quest is rice cocoons. You can collect them by exploring the Webbed Hollow. You’ll need to gather three rice cocoons. Simply pick up cocoons along the way until you have enough.

The quest for the Elder Amur Worm begins once you have both key items: three rice cocoons and the gluttonous worm. First, you’ll need to unlock the Ruyi Scroll Secret Area, a gathering place for all merchants in the game. The Chen Lung questline will lead you to unlock this area.
Our advice is to visit the Chen Loong Shrine after unlocking the Ruyi Scrolls. He will ask for the gluttonous worm, if you have it. Rest at the Keeper’s Shrine and return. You’ll find the gluttonous worm to the right of the baskets, appearing tiny and harmless. Feed it three rice cocoons and rest again
