Starting October 22, the new mode «New Game+» will be available, as announced by the developers of Dead Island 2.
  Players will need to replay the storyline with retained skills, equipment, and new slots for skill cards to create top-tier builds. In this mode, regular zombies will become stronger, and elite zombies will appear in the early stages of the game, which is unusual for players. Additionally, the new mode introduces a new opponent tier - Revenants. Their uniqueness lies in their difficulty and unique abilities. By defeating them, players can obtain rare loot.
Apart from «New Game+», the update also includes a new horde mode called Neighborhood Watch.
 In this mode, players must defend a base from waves of zombies, strategizing for the final assault.
