We have Tracer at home: Riot Games has revealed a new agent in VALORANT. It seemed like just earlier this year we got introduced to the charismatic Colombian, Tejo, and now we are already getting a new Protocol VALORANT agent with the codename Waylay. Their skills strongly resemble the legendary Tracer from Overwatch but also introduce a new type of stun that slows not only your shooting but other actions as well. Let’s take a look at her abilities!
New Agent's Abilities
- Light Stun C - With this ability, you can throw an energy projectile at the enemy, which literally works like Dio's time stop from JoJo’s anime.
- Refraction E – Essentially, this is Tracer's "recall" from Overwatch. After placing a beacon, you continue moving forward. Reusing this skill will return you to the beacon’s position and may restore lost health.
- Speed of Light Q - The developers went all out, recreating two of Tracer’s abilities. Speed of Light is an acceleration that allows you to dash instantly in the direction of your view.
- Ascension X (ultimate) - Creates an area that applies the new effect to enemies, granting you a speed boost. The new character is quite fresh and sharp, and many players will see them in their nightmares. I wonder how long the developers will hold out before nerfing them?
