Finding the Ritual Dagger in PEAK
This dagger was added in the latest content update, “The Final Ascent.” The weapon only appears in co-op sessions, so it cannot be found during solo runs.
Where can you get this dagger?
- Ancient Idols.
- Ancient Luggage, which commonly spawns in the late-game biomes Gloom and The Citadel.
- The dagger has a random drop chance, so you will need to search all available loot-spawn locations in high-level areas.
The weapon’s mechanic is based on betrayal. If you approach a teammate from behind and hold the right mouse button, they will quickly disappear, turn to stone, or crumble away. In return, you will fully restore your health and remove negative effects, including hunger and burning.
To guarantee the “Last Chance” badge, your health must be below 25% before you strike.
Step-by-step guide:
- Find a high spot near an Ancient Idol.
- Jump down to take fall damage and reduce your health to a minimum.
- Approach your teammate from behind and sacrifice them with a backstab.
- Immediately revive the defeated teammate at the idol.
This method is useful for more than just obtaining the badge. If your team is trapped in a difficult biome without resources and is about to lose, sacrificing one teammate can help. The other player can survive, reach the summit with full health, and then bring their teammate back to life.
