What should you do?
There are several ways to solve the problem on the world wide web. We will list all possible solutions. Choose the ones that seem easier or more reliable to you, and then try to implement them.
- The first option, which does not involve any inconvenience, is updating your operating system. Since Windows 10 has long been offering free updates even to pirates, there should be no issues with this step. Start the update, grab some cocoa with cookies, come back, and enjoy.
- The second option is adding the game to the antivirus exceptions. It is possible that your Kaspersky or Avast is blocking some files (most often the anti-cheat), preventing you from connecting to the servers and starting your strategic destruction of the enemy.
- The third option is connecting to a VPN. Although it is not required for gaming now, your provider might be blocking access to PUBG servers for some reason. In this case, I recommend downloading Windscribe VPN - it is a free program that provides 10 gigabytes of traffic. This should be enough for gaming. Most importantly, don’t forget to turn off the VPN when browsing the internet or downloading updates.
These tips should be enough to permanently fix this error. If none of the above tips help you, most likely, you will need to completely restart the game (preferably on a clean operating system) or wait for an update.
