Artillery in Delta Force is a powerful tactical tool that can significantly impact the course of battle in Warfare mode. Unlike regular weapons or combat vehicles, an artillery strike allows you to eliminate opponents in strategically important areas of the map, slowing their advance or neutralizing reinforcements.

How to Call an Artillery Strike?
To use artillery in the game, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the 5 key to open the support menu.
- Select the "Artillery Strike" option – your character will pull out a tablet with a map.
- Indicate the location on the map where the strike should be directed.
- After a short delay, the attack will begin, covering the selected area with fire and damaging all enemies within the blast radius.
Other support options are also available in this menu: deploying a smoke screen, delivering vehicles, placing a respawn beacon for allies, or launching a cruise missile. However, artillery remains one of the most effective ways to control the battlefield.
Note: Artillery strikes are ineffective on underground levels, such as the Shafted map or sector C of Ascension. In such cases, cruise missiles are a more suitable alternative.

How to Earn Points for Calling Artillery?
To use artillery, you need to accumulate enough support points. These are awarded for actions that benefit your team or harm the enemy:
- Healing and reviving teammates (if playing as a medic).
- Resupplying teammates with ammunition.
- Eliminating enemies.
- Capturing and defending key points.
If you prefer an aggressive playstyle, use weapons like the SG552 for the "Assault" and "Recon" classes or the PKM for the "Engineer" – they help earn points faster by taking down enemies.
Tactical Use of Artillery
Artillery is not just a way to deal damage but a crucial strategic element that can change the course of battle. Here are some tips for using it effectively:
Controlling enemy reinforcements. Target strike zones slightly behind the front lines to hit newly spawned enemy soldiers.
Defending key locations. If the enemy is trying to capture a crucial objective, artillery can slow their advance, giving your team time to regroup.
Coordination with allies. Snipers and saboteurs will appreciate your support if you cut off enemy retreat or advance routes.
In this sense, artillery in Delta Force plays a similar role to the mortar in PUBG, especially on maps like Sanhok, where environmental destruction plays a key role in battle tactics.
