We are pleased to announce that the A-Life system has finally been improved and enhanced following a major patch for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

Heart of Chornobyl has become an exceptionally pleasant pre-New Year gift from  GSC Game World for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 fans. The massive 1.1 patch exceeded 100 gigabytes in size, with over 1800 fixes released by the developers directly related to the A-Life system, balance, performance, various bugs, and more. Even when opening a safe in Stalker 2, nothing lags anymore!

Our store has collected the most interesting changes for you:
The system’s operating radius has been significantly expanded, along with the first batch of fixes for A-Life. NPCs no longer appear behind the player, characters now roam the Zone more often. Additionally, characters have finally been taught to navigate better, expand their territory, and fight monsters and enemies.

  • Balance adjustments. Developers removed the exploit for infinite money, increased rewards in some missions, and fixed a bug that allowed farming a huge number of coupons.
  • Artificial Intelligence. Monsters reminded players how to jump off obstacles, large mutants no longer hide behind overly small cover. The protagonist is now less noticeable while sneaking, and the ability to pass through doors without opening them has been removed.
  • Cutscenes. Developers brought back missing NPCs, improved facial animations, and added subtitles and haptic feedback.
  • Performance. Finally, bugs causing crashes have been fixed, performance in more populated areas has been improved, and frame rate drop issues during frame generation on NVIDIA RTX 3000 series GPUs have been resolved.

Of course, these are not all updates and fixes but just a small part. Earlier, the  GSC Game World team also released three smaller patches.
