1vs1 maps in CS 2 are small arenas where you face your opponent one-on-one. They’re perfect for warm-ups before matches, sparring with friends, or just testing who’s better. Best options for 2026:
- "AIM Map" ,
- "AIM Map 2"
- "TIRGO - AIM MAP 1v1"
- "PIPSTEEZ - AIM MAP 1v1"
- "1vs1_aim_map" .
All maps are free, launched through the Steam store, and require no special setup.
All maps belong to the classic "aim_map" genre compact symmetrical arenas with cover, where two players compete face to face. It’s a great format for headshot training, but throwing grenades is better practiced on other maps.
- "AIM Map" a classic AIM arena with a simple design and clear lines. Suitable for practicing standard duels with AK and M4.
- "AIM Map 2" an improved version with more complex cover geometry. It allows not just straight shooting but also working with tight angles.
- "TIRGO - AIM MAP 1v1" a map for fast-paced play (Shootouts). No tactics work here only pure mechanics and reaction speed.
- "PIPSTEEZ - AIM MAP 1v1" a very beautiful map with pleasant lighting and logical cover. Perfect for duels with friends or serious training.
- "1vs1_aim_map" the canonical version known since CS: GO. Simple, concise, and time-tested.

To play, log in to your Steam account and download the map from the library, then click (Subscribe) and select the “With local game” mode. Create a lobby with a friend or bots, choose the downloaded map, and set the round time. You can also use the map command in the developer console. For a proper sparring experience, it’s recommended to disable bots and play against a real opponent.
If duels with a friend aren’t enough, you can train your aim on these maps against bots by setting them to an easy difficulty and gradually increasing it.
