The game includes five powerful cheats that can be purchased with Completion Points (CP) or unlocked by speedrunning. They grant access to infinite saves, unlimited ammo, and melee weapons that never break, making repeat playthroughs on higher difficulties much more manageable.

In Resident Evil Requiem, cheats are handled through the in‑game Bonus Shop. Most items become available after you beat the story at least once, and you pay for them using the CP you’ve accumulated. There is one notable exception — the “Infinite Ribbon (Grace)”. It allows unlimited saving on the “Insanity” and “Classic” difficulties and is granted for free if you clear the game in under 4 hours by completing the “Speed Demon” challenge. To shave time off your run, it helps to know the secret roulette puzzle, where to find Empty Injectors, and how to open the ventilation hatch.

All other upgrades require a serious CP investment. The most expensive but also the most impactful purchase is full infinite ammo for all firearms.

Quick breakdown of key bonuses:

  • Infinite ammo (all guns) — 50,000 CP. A must‑buy for both characters.
  • Infinite ammo: RPG‑7 — Leon‑only upgrade for 35,000 CP. You must first purchase the RPG‑7 itself for 15,000 CP.
  • Kotetsu — Grace’s best knife upgrade for 5,000 CP, an unbreakable blade that appears automatically in the item box.
  • Infinite hatchet durability — a Leon upgrade for 20,000 CP that completely removes weapon wear and tear.

Be mindful of the downsides of explosive weapons. The infinite‑ammo RPG‑7 hits hard and deletes enemies in seconds, but its blast radius is just as dangerous for the user, which makes the universal 50,000 CP cheat a safer long‑term choice. With it, the “Requiem” handgun and most other firearms no longer consume ammo.

Melee gear is just as important. Regular swords and axes break quickly during grabs or aggressive play, but their enhanced “infinite” versions completely ignore durability.

Benefits of unbreakable melee equipment:

  • Grace can scrap every knife she finds for extra crafting materials.
  • Leon no longer needs to hunt for whetstones to repair his weapons.
  • Your inventory stays clear of redundant weapon duplicates.
