To search for useful resources, it’s best to use a special scanner that will help you find rare resources and a protective suit. Therefore, you definitely need to know how to locate it in the game! Don’t delay your search. First of all, you need to create a separate project at the station called "Workshop". There you will be able to gather a large portion of equipment for your heroes (clones) and more. For building the workshop, you will need about 40–50 types of metal, which you can find anywhere on the map.
Log into the game menu and queue up the scanner. To create it, you’ll need 20 units of metal, but it will pay off quickly once you start using the metal-finding scanner. For correct placement, go to the surface and look for a zone marked with blue smoke, because that’s where you can find lots of supplies and useful minerals. Once you’ve chosen a location, place the scanner again around the perimeter so it forms a closed loop. Now you’ll be able to detect all the minerals located near the area reached by the scanner’s beams.
