Finally! We are excited to announce that Owlcat Games has launched open alpha testing for Rue Valley.
The first project from the Serbian studio Emotion Spark, developed with the support of Owlcat Games, is Rue Valley. Just a few months after its debut, the developers have already announced the start of open alpha testing on the Steam platform. To participate in the testing, players only need to perform a simple action — request access.
This title positions itself as a story-driven role-playing game, somewhat reminiscent of the acclaimed Disco Elysium. In Rue Valley, the events take place in a secluded town where the residents are forced to relive the same day over and over. The protagonist's goal is to unravel the events happening around them and find a way out of the time loop.
The gameplay focuses on exploring the town and interacting with its characters. Players' actions during each cycle will shape the protagonist's personality, ranging from a cold, solitary figure to an eccentric socialite.
Unfortunately, a release date has not yet been announced, but we are eagerly looking forward to it.
