Nothing complicated or confusing, all player housing in WoW will be placed in separate zones inspired by existing locations, but not exactly the same. Alliance houses will have elements of Elwynn Forest, Westfall, and Duskwood, while Horde dwellings will take inspiration from Durotar, its coastline, and Azshara. Each of these zones will accommodate up to 50 houses, all implemented following the battleground principle, where they are tied to real locations in lore but exist separately.
Players are already trying to determine the house locations by carefully analyzing all available materials. Alliance housing will appear in the western part of Elwynn Forest, and Pyerock has found a similar area for the Horde northeast of Orgrimmar, according to Lottus21 and LoreAtHome. However, the question remains whether developers will modify the original locations or simply introduce separate details.
